Santameriana Amphora is a skin contact vinification of the rare Santameriana grape, and fermented / aged in 200-year-old local reclaimed amphorae, from biodynamic, dry vineyards in its home soil of Santomeri village, in Achaia.
Spontaneously fermented in clay amphora with a 20-day maceration, no pressing, and 6-months in an outdoor buried amphora.
Notes: A noticeably “orange” wine, with a copper color, and well integrated tannins. Aromas feature complex notes of dried apricot, honeycomb, orange peel, and intense minerality.
